This Section of the page is primarily dealing with some of my views regarding Tupac's Life.

First of all, I would like to start by saying that above all Tupac was a noble man, despite all the things he might have done.
Many people critize him and judge him, not even knowing who Tupac really was.  By only listening to some of Tupac's
songs, one can realize that Tupac was not all about violence, sex, and drugs.   This can be seen clearly in most of his early
work.  In his first three albums, one can see how Tupac is truly concerned about the black community, where he
talks about the struggles black people face in society.  In his songs, Tupac honors black women and encourages them to
never give up and "keep their head up."  Songs like "Keep Your Head Up,"  and "Brenda's Got A Baby," are the best songs
to embrace Tupac's ideality.  Unfortunately, this ideality is somewhat lost in Tupac's later cd's because of the very hardcore
style he develops.  But why did this change occur?

With the release of his album All Eyez On Me, Tupac became one of the most famous rap stars in the hip-hop community.
The Gangta style he develops with this cd helped him to sell millions and millions of copies.  When the media refers to Tupac,
they mostly refer as the "Gansta' Rapper" Tupac, not to the "old" Tupac.  So, what caused the change?  The cause for this
change I believe was money.  I don't necessarily think that Tupac "sold out" by doing an album that seems to contradict all his
ideals portrayed in all his previous work.  I think Tupac figured out it was the best thing to do.  He was a man of ideals and
principles.  However, as he always said it, if he's going to do anything for the black community, he's going to need money to
do it.  Also, he lived all his life in poverty.  I think that we must not judge him hard because any of us would have done the
same, too.

The truth is that Tupac had very good reasons for writing lyrics like that: he was set up by his best friend (biggie smalls) in an
attempt to kill him, he was betrayed by his friends, and he was wrongfully accussed of raping a woman and sent to jail for four
and a half years - You would be pretty mad too if it happened to you.

In conclusion, Tupac did what he believed he had to do.   Before critizing him, however, we must put ourselves in his shoes, and
ask ourselves if we would have done the same thing or not.
